Create your Safaribid Driver account, add your vehicle and documents, and get approved.
This guide walks you through creating a Driver account, adding your vehicle and documents, and getting approved to deliver.
Create your account
Click here to sign up using any of the following:
Sign up with email and password
Enter your email address and a password to create your account.
Sign up with phone number and password
Enter your phone number and a password to create your account.
Sign up with Google
Sign up with your Google account and skip the OTP step.
If you were sent a sign-up link, the Driver role may already be preselected. Links containing ?role=driver preselect the Driver role.
Already have an account?
You can log in to an existing account instead of creating a new one.
Verify your contact
If you signed up with an email or phone number, you will receive a one-time password (OTP). Enter the code you receive to verify your contact.
Verify with email
Email sign-ups receive the OTP by email.
Verify with phone
Phone sign-ups receive the OTP by SMS.
Google sign-ups skip the OTP step.

Complete your profile
After verification, you land on the profile setup page. From there:
Your email and phone are linked to one account
If you signed up with an email address, you will be required to enter your phone number in the profile section. Once you save your profile, that phone number is permanently linked to your account and cannot be used to create another account. The same applies the other way: an email address already linked to an account cannot be registered again.
Add your vehicle
You need your own vehicle to deliver. During onboarding you provide your vehicle details:
Vehicle details
- Vehicle number plate
- Make and model
- Year of manufacture - the vehicle must not be more than 5 years old.
Documents and photos
- A National ID or Passport.
- A valid driving license.
- Valid insurance for the vehicle.
- Photos of the vehicle.
For motorcycles (boda), you also need to confirm you have a helmet, a delivery bag, and clean Safaribid Gear.
Get approved
Driver applications are reviewed and approved by Safaribid before you can go online. While your application is under review:
- You cannot accept delivery requests yet.
- You will be notified once your application is approved.
Approval normally takes a short time. If your application has been under review for a while, contact support with your account details.
