Using your account

Set up your store, add products to your catalog, and fulfil customer orders on Safaribid.

Once your store is approved, you can manage everything from your vendor dashboard - your store, your catalog, and your orders.

Set up your store

Your store is how customers see you on the Safaribid marketplace. From your dashboard, you can set up:

Business details

  • Business name and logo - how your store appears to customers.
  • Business category - what you sell, so customers can find you easily.
  • Location - where your products are picked up from.
  • Store description - a short introduction for customers browsing your store.

Edit your store

Store status

You can edit your store details at any time. Changes are saved automatically and shown to customers once your store is live.

Add products to your catalog

Add products through your dashboard using the product form:

Add a product

Open your product list in the dashboard.
Select Add product.
Enter the product name, price, and category.
Upload product photos so customers know what they are buying.
Set the stock level available for sale.
Save the product to add it to your catalog.

Edit or remove products

You can edit any product at any time - change the price, update the stock level, or remove a product that is no longer available.

Manage your orders

When a customer places an order, it appears in your order dashboard.

View and confirm orders

From the order dashboard you can:

  1. View the items, quantities, and delivery details for each order.
  2. Confirm orders that you are able to fulfil.

Prepare orders for pickup

Prepare the order for pickup once it is confirmed.

When you confirm an order, a driver is assigned to pick up the products from your location and deliver them to the customer.

Keep your store running smoothly

  • Keep your stock levels up to date so customers do not order items you do not have.
  • Confirm orders as soon as you can, so they can be picked up and delivered without delay.
  • If you will be unavailable, make sure your products reflect that so customers are not left waiting.

What happens next

Track your sales, commission, and payouts in Payments, or see Troubleshooting if you run into any issues.
