Product Management

Efficient product management is key to a successful store on the Safaribid Marketplace.

Adding Products

You can add products to your store in three ways:

  1. Dashboard (Single): Use the "Add Product" form for individual items.
  2. Bulk Upload: Upload a CSV or Excel file to add hundreds of products at once.
  3. API Sync: Automatically sync your existing ecommerce store via our Merchant API.

Product Attributes

  • Title & Description: Clear, concise information to help customers find your products.
  • Category: Assigning the correct category ensures your product appears in relevant searches.
  • Images: High-quality images significantly increase conversion rates.
  • Pricing: Manage base price, tax, and optional discount/sale pricing.

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Stock Levels: Keep track of available units to prevent overselling.
  • Low Stock Alerts: Receive notifications when a product's stock falls below a threshold.
  • Availability Toggle: Quickly hide or show products on the marketplace.

Variants & Options

Create complex product listings with variants:

  • Sizes: S, M, L, XL
  • Colors: Red, Blue, Green
  • Materials: Cotton, Polyester
  • Add-ons: Extra sauce, Gift wrapping

Categories & Collections

Organize your store for better discoverability:

  • Categories: Logical groupings (e.g., Electronics, Menswear).
  • Collections: Curated groups (e.g., "Summer Essentials", "Weekly Specials").
