WooCommerce Integration

How to integrate Safaribid into your WordPress/WooCommerce store.

WooCommerce Integration

The Safaribid WooCommerce plugin brings professional logistics infrastructure to your WordPress-powered store.

Installation

  1. Download the Plugin: Get the .zip file from the Safaribid Developers Portal.
  2. Upload to WordPress: Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin in your WordPress admin.
  3. Activate: Click "Activate Plugin" after the installation is complete.

Setup & Configuration

Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Safaribid to configure the plugin.

Connection

Enter your Live Secret Key and Webhook Secret to establish a secure link with our servers.

Shipping Method

  • Enable Safaribid Shipping: This adds Safaribid as a shipping option at checkout.
  • Service Type: Choose between "Standard Delivery" and "Premium (Same-day) Delivery".
  • Weight Calculation: Ensure your products have accurate weights to get precise delivery quotes.

Automated Dispatching

You can automate rider requests based on order status changes. For example, when an order status changes to "Processing", Safaribid can automatically initiate a delivery quote and request a rider.

Real-time Tracking Widget

The plugin automatically embeds a "Track my Package" button on the My Account > Orders page for your customers. You can also use our shortcode to place the tracking widget anywhere on your site:

Troubleshooting

  • No rates at checkout: Ensure your store address and the customer's address are within a supported delivery zone.
  • Orders not syncing: Check your Webhook Secret and ensure your server can receive POST requests from our API.
  • Connection Error: Double-check your API keys and ensure you aren't using a Sandbox key on a live store.
