Shopify Integration

Step-by-step guide to connecting your Shopify store to Safaribid.

Shopify Integration

Connect your Shopify store to Safaribid to automate fulfillment, sync inventory, and provide real-time tracking to your customers.

Installation

  1. Visit the Shopify App Store: Search for "Safaribid Logistics & Fulfillment".
  2. Install the App: Click "Add App" and authorize the connection to your store.
  3. Connect API Key: Enter your Safaribid Secret Key (sk_live_...) in the app settings.

Configuration

1. Pickup Locations

Define where Safaribid riders should collect packages. If you have multiple Shopify locations, you can map each one to a Safaribid warehouse or store.

2. Shipping Rates

Choose how delivery fees are calculated at checkout:

  • Real-time Rates: Fees are calculated dynamically based on the customer's distance from your store.
  • Flat Rates: Define fixed shipping tiers (e.g., KES 200 for all deliveries).
  • Free Shipping: Set a minimum order value for free Safaribid delivery.

3. Fulfillment Automation

Enable "Auto-request Delivery" to automatically notify a Safaribid rider as soon as an order is marked as "Paid" in Shopify.

Order Workflow

  1. Customer Orders: A customer places an order on your Shopify store.
  2. Sync: The order details are instantly synced to your Safaribid Business dashboard.
  3. Rider Notification: Based on your settings, a rider is dispatched immediately or when you click "Fulfill" in Shopify.
  4. Tracking: The tracking link is automatically added to the Shopify order notes and sent to the customer.
