Business Verification

To protect all participants in the Safaribid ecosystem, every business must undergo a verification process before they can start fulfilling orders or accepting payments.

Verification Process

The verification flow typically takes 24-48 hours once all documents are submitted.

1. Document Submission

Submit digital copies of the following:

• Certificate of Incorporation or Business Name Registration.
• Tax Compliance Certificate (KRA PIN or equivalent).
• Valid ID/Passport of the primary business owner.
• Proof of Business Location (Utility bill or lease agreement).

2. Physical/Virtual Inspection

For Restaurants and high-volume Merchants, a Safaribid agent may conduct a brief virtual or physical inspection of your facilities to ensure quality standards.

3. Approval & Activation

Once verified, you will receive an email notification. Your dashboard will transition from "Sandbox" to "Live" mode.

Verification Statuses

You can track your status in the Settings > Verification tab of your dashboard:

• Pending: Documents submitted, awaiting review.
• Under Review: Our compliance team is currently verifying your details.
• Action Required: One or more documents were rejected. Check your email for details.
• Verified: Your business is active and ready for live operations.

Common Rejection Reasons

• Blurry or unreadable document scans.
• Expired identification or tax certificates.
• Discrepancy between business name and registration documents.
